Creatives Abroad provides Social Stepping Stones to juniors for local knowledge sharing and personal development. These consist of online knowledge sources and local personal support. They are focused on making local knowledge available and building a venue network.

Creatives Abroad (CA) is a network and online talent database that matches the most talented multidisciplinary junior creative duos to abroad companies and offers the juniors local social support to have the best international working experience.
Network
The network consists of junior creatives (students and recent graduates), Dutch universities, foreign companies and local (foreign) connections.
Services
CA provides first and foremost an online database of talented students and challenging international internships focused on the creative industry. The platform contains profiles focused on specific skills and relevant valuations/references. This enables a qualitative match of multidisciplinary creative duo’s and companies.
Platform
Our focus at the start of our project was to solve financial barriers. We had devised a concept whereby companies pay the trainees in necessary resources instead of money.
On the question of what may be important for the junior creative for a good foreign experience, co-creation has given much of this input: Social experiences.
The focus changed to the recruiting of the most talented students, and on-site support for a social experience, while providing as much as possible without incurring additional costs for the student.

Platform
Students can upload new projects, which can be validated by teachers or external professionals which are part of the network. The profile of students have personal information, skills, references, validated projects. This profile is used to match with a fellow student and an abroad company.
